What happens in the nest?
Names, dates, needs, notes, moments and optional cycle entries are stored only in this browser’s localStorage. They are not sent to MiluLand or third parties. The nest has no accounts, server database, cloud sync, ads, analytics, weather or AI services.
Local does not mean an encrypted vault
Data is not encrypted. Someone with access to your device or browser may see it. Use a trusted device and get permission before recording another person’s cycle or personal information. Real names are not required.
Backup, transfer & deletion
Clearing browser data, private browsing or switching devices can lose your records. Export a JSON file in Settings to keep a backup. Importing replaces the nest after confirmation. Backups are plain text; keep them private. Clearing the nest deletes product records in this browser, not exported files. A warning appears if storage fails; the current session remains usable.
Cycle dates are estimates
Cycle notes are off by default. If enabled, dates are estimated from the start date and lengths you enter and may be inaccurate. They do not infer mood or identify ovulation or safe days, and are not for diagnosis, contraception or conception planning. Seek professional advice when needed.
The introduction page & hosting
The public introduction page includes Google AdSense Auto Ads, which may use cookies. The nest and privacy pages do not load ads. Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and may process network information such as IP addresses and request times while serving pages. Those requests do not contain nest records. This product does not include Google Analytics.
Use with care
Love Otter is a MiluLand product for everyday communication and personal notes. It does not replace real conversations or judge or predict another person’s feelings. Records are not automatically shared between partners and dates do not trigger push notifications.
